Our Main Programs

Project Imagine

For kids ages 6 - 9 (Grade levels 1 - 3)

Project Imagine is our regular, multi-week storytelling program designed to spark children's imagination and build a foundational love for reading. Over the course of several weeks, children explore a curated selection of culturally relevant Filipino stories tailored to their community.  To ensure deep comprehension and lasting connection, we dedicate a thoughtful two-day program to each featured story. On the first day, we focus on immersive storytelling, vocabulary building, and creative visualization to bring the narrative to life. On the second day, we transition into guided reading and hands-on enrichment activities that allow children to apply the core values and lessons of the story to their own lives and communities.

Project Create

For public schools without libraries or reading spaces

Once children discover a passion for books, they need a dedicated space where that passion can grow. Project Create establishes specialized reading spaces and avenues where children can freely explore their newfound love for reading. Through this project, we build physical, child-friendly libraries filled with books and learning materials. A beautiful example of this program in action is our library in Masbate, built in partnership with the local community to serve as a sustainable, active hub of learning and creativity

Project Share

Book club: for kids ages 10 - 12 (Grade levels 4 -6)

Local volunteers: youth groups in our partner communities

This program focuses on establishing book clubs and empowering volunteers.

  • TSP Book Clubs: While Project Imagine nurtures early readers in Grades 2–3, our Book Clubs are designed for the older children in our partner schools to help them transition into active leaders. Under this program, club members meet periodically to share insights about books they read, assist in book-borrowing operations in the libraries, draft their own original stories, and even lead storytelling sessions for younger children in their neighborhoods.

  • Capacitating Local Volunteers: We recruit and guide new volunteers to equip them with the skills to lead community storytelling sessions. This is where our impact scales and becomes sustainable by sharing our knowledge and experience directly with the community.

Our Other Programs

Discover the Storyteller in You!

For TSP volunteers and corporate partners

Do you want to inspire a child but aren't sure where to start? Our founder, Rey Bufi, facilitates a storytelling workshop designed to equip educators, volunteers, parents, and aspiring storytellers with the practical "tips and tricks" of the craft. Through these interactive sessions, you will learn how to:

  • Use your voice, body language, and expressions to bring characters to life.
  • Keep children deeply engaged, active, and excited throughout a story.

Whether you are preparing to join our community visits or simply want to bring more joy to reading time at home, our workshops will give you the confidence to lead storytelling sessions of your own.

Namamasko Po!

For Project Imagine kids

Every year, we bring our partner communities together for Namamasko Po!—our flagship Christmas celebration. This program is all about making holiday wishes come true for the children in our partner schools.

Through this festive holiday initiative, we gather the personal Christmas wishes of our TSP children and connect them with ninongs and ninangs (godparents) who pledge donations to fulfill these simple dreams. Once these wishes are matched, we purchase the gifts and host a heartwarming Christmas party filled with fun and games.

One-time Storytelling Sessions

For government and corporate partners

Want to make your next celebration truly meaningful? You can invite our TSP storytellers to perform at your event! We bring our signature brand of interactive storytelling right to you. Booking a session not only adds a unique, educational, and fun experience for your young guests, but also helps support our ongoing advocacy to reach more remote reading communities across the Philippines.
